Moving sideways
Moving sideways
Protocol
Aim
Gross motor coordination.
Test description
The athlete stands barefoot on a board and holds the other board in both hands at pelvis height. When the test leader gives the starting signal, the athlete places the board in his hands next to the board on which he stands and steps subsequently on this board. The board that is free is taken with both hands and placed again. In this way, the athlete moves sideways as fast as possible in a straight line for 20 seconds. There are 2 attempts with sufficient rest in between.
Mark determination
1 point when the athlete grabs the board and 1 point when the athlete stands on the other (2 points per cycle). Both attempts are noted.
